Here is where it gets a little bit tricky with my type of man.
Growing up, long walk to freedom by Nelson Mandela was my bible while Lucky Dube and Bob Marley’s tracks were my biggest companions. We did not start on this path of holding government accountable with Dr. Alex Otti.
During the immediate past administration in Abia State which Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu was in charge of, after the 2019 election when it became clear to me that lunatics had taken over the asylum largely, I calmly stayed off their political space as I could not understand why a FOG would dare to threaten people publicly for asking for their salaries.
While I have people that were so dear to me in that administration, I used private means to engage them but when it didn’t yield anything tangible, I went off and maintained my private space while engaging that administration publicly.
I remember the personal letter I wrote to the then Commissioner of Works stating how disastrous it would be if Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu ever failed to meet our expectations as nde Ngwa.

That is who I am, I speak out loudly when people are scared to talk and often bear the consequences. I am the son of a public-school teacher and an extremely principled father, though late.
The guys in Dr. Alex Otti’s space would be sick to claim that I am being sponsored by anyone to speak up about areas I feel strongly that are not being handled appropriately in my state by his regime.
I acknowledge the areas the Governor has done well and a times I do that with videos, I mention areas that have witnessed improvement under his administration to people privately, but I don’t shy away from speaking my truth.
We only have one life to live and as a full-blown Igbo man, Nigeria is hot for us at the moment, and we must do all we can to fix our region.
Any political leader who is not sincerely in a haste to fix the southeast should be marked as an enemy of the masses.
The Obidients movement seems to have every problem with anyone who says anything against Labour Party candidates, no matter how objective one may be about such criticisms.
Ndi Obidients please ask Dr. Alex Otti what his government position on Enyimba Economic City development is. Let us settle this once and for all.

Permit me to ask you Obidients, how many of these Labour party members have you seen stand up against bad governance at Abuja?
There is everything wrong with being an onye eriri eri and in this case most of you are acting as though your faculties of thought have been compromised terribly.
This mass promotion hysteria is so bad that if I type today that Dr. Alex Otti built a runway in one week in Aba and constructed a seaport where fighter jets land in one week in Aba, these same people will create contents out of it without verification and share widely as long as the person has a thing to do with Labour party.
Anyone who dares ask them rational question is attacked and called names. They never see it that these politicians they are enabling are all the same and are benefitting massively from the deflection of attention from the real issues.

I dare them to explain to me how their favorite politicians have cut cost of governance in their various states?
That madness of not verifying narratives before trending them on twitter (X) is a joke taken too far.
Beyond the whole twitter and WhatsApp engagements, these Nigerian politicians are not to be left without marking them closely else we would all dearly pay for it.
You all forget that these men raise funds to contest elections and would have to recoup their investments.
We must be watchful so that the profit these politicians make while in office when compared to their investments to get into such offices does not outrightly overwhelm the citizens, as these resources could be used to develop the region more.
Most of our politicians have nothing at stake here in the southeast, after their tenure, they often pick their bags like former Governor Willie Obiano and move to where they are based, you and I would be the ones to face the music of their inactions while in office.

I criticized Mr. Theodore Orji for being mean to us as Abians, I did same to Dr. Okezie Ikpeazụ and I would do same to Dr. Alex Otti where the need arises, I am not a SLAVE but a free born of my parents.
The truth I have is my tool and not even your intimidation would deter me. Ask around, my biggest motivation is the hope that someday the southeast would become a haven for development and massive economic activities with the least insecurity scare.
I read through every of my write up before going public, I don’t defame people because I hate being defamed.
I repeat this with every sense of responsibility, Dr. Alex Otti must be reminded that the most he can be a governor is eight (8) years.
Eight years is too small for him to stand in the way of any project that would benefit ndị Abia State for years to come simply because it wasn’t initiated by him. Such is wrong on all counts.
The General Hospital at Aba that was equipped by Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu’s tenure, I have not yet understood why this government shut that facility down at the beginning of their tenure.

Governance goes beyond emotions, the horse threading that happens during the elections notwithstanding, it is a duty he owes us as our leader to forget the past and rally us unto a common course without prejudice to anyone.
Allow businesses cited in the state before your tenure and during your tenure to thrive Sir, their political leaning notwithstanding.
Dr. Alex Otti cannot be governor forever. If I see people like Ochendo, OUK and even Damirida now who are now past governors, I doubt if I would make any extra effort to greet them out of excitement compared to when they were in office.
You are on the spotlight now Dear Governor Otti, but it is not going to be forever, when your tenure elapses, these hangers on would move to the next Governor and your space would return to normal. Don’t let them mislead you for their selfish interests.
Dr. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala should not be worked up at all, I am one of her very committed students. YouTube has blessed me by giving me premium access to her contents.

So just like you did in government, we are doing as private citizens. The only difference is that some of us do not have any Goodluck Ebele Jonathan that would come to our aid to offer us assistance when corruption choses to fight me back, as shared in your book Ma.
My bookshelf boasts of “Women and leadership and fighting corruption is dangerous”, which are your publications. I have consumed them for years now most voraciously, but I would still need “reforming the unreformable and Chinua Achebe: teacher of light” from you.
Kindly do not take any distortion to heart, we do not do that here as we are all for good governance. My digital footprints are clear and speaks to this fact.

Please speak to our brother and leader Dr. Alex Otti on why he needs to do better for all of us. If Abia State becomes the most developing state in Nigeria under him, we would sing his praise as it would be in our favor as ndi Abia.
Beyond the media razzmatazz we expect more from him and he cannot continue to use the PDP years as his yardstick to measure performance.
I wish you well Dr. Alex Otti but we must speak the uncomfortable truths to you Sir not minding whose ox is gored.
